Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
Female starter Pokemon are actually pretty rare.If you where playing a legit copy you probably could have traded it for something else.
I am going to start playing SoulSilver once I beat Mass Effect again. I'm on the final boss so once I feel like playing it I'll beat him.

Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
I don't use emulators. I play the games on my DS using an M3 Flash Card.
Here's a list of all of the top emulators with a description
The problem is that the DS is not that old so people still haven't been able to make really good emulators for it. Most DS emulators are just GBA emulators with a little extra like how the main GC emulator is also the main Wii emulator. Is it perfect? No, but it works.

Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
I was actually thinking about this a bit somewhat.
since Easter is soon, and i'll hopefully get some cash, should I go for HeartGold or SoulSilver? or should i go to get a new pendrive?

Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
I wanted to know what you meant by Pendrive.
I got this.
Is it just like a Flashdrive?
So if you are deciding between Heart Gold and Soul Silver, here are the differences
I'm gonna play Silver

Heart Gold = Soul Silver.
They're basically the same.

Different Pokemon.Joey-Kazaam wrote:Heart Gold = Soul Silver.

I prefer having the Pokemon that they put into Soul Silver over the ones in Heart Gold. I prefer the main Legendary (Lugia) more than Ho-Oh, I prefer the legendary they put in from Ruby (Gourdon) over Kyogre, plus Ninetails & Persian > Mankey and Arcainne (even though Arcainne is awesome)
I picked the Grass started b/c I play to evolve a Magikarp to Gyrados for my Water pokemon and Ninetails to be my fire pokemon.

Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
I have gotten the game to crash on me a few times and I also heard that it fully crashes after the 3rd gym leader if your on an emulator or flash card so I'll just team up with Jesus to beat Platinum (we take turns level grinding) and once we beat it the new games will be fixed and he'll play Gold and I'll play Silver.

Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
Yeah, most games like this tend to be mostly equal.
And by Pendrive, I mean flash drive. I'm thinking of maybe looking for a good secure one, perhaps with about 4 to 8GB space.

You're thinking a bit too small on pendrive space. How about 8-32GB?u

I'll only have 'bout 50 bucks for a pendrive. Even a budget 8GB drive costs about $30

Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
wait wait wait, oh yeah....
how about you try saving more money to get a 16GB? after all, 16GB drives aren't that much more than 8GB drives.

Re: Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
Heart Gold and Soul Silver are both $40 and come with the Pokewalker. IMO I would get the Pokemon game because level grinding does suck and you can use the pokewalker to walk and gain exp (which would be really good if you walk to school or have a dog to walk). You could also cheat it various ways like taping it to a vinyl record player.Dante Feistel wrote:The Heap wrote:Dante Feistel wrote:Yeah, most games like this tend to be mostly equal.
